The tough attitude of Metro Exodus on the updates of the nuclear apocalypse
Time: Mar. 1, 2019Metro Exodus Epic Key is tackling the catastrophic future after the world has been plundered with nuclear weapons in a way that games like Fallout 76 could not offer. Post-apocalyptic Russia is far from being as sterile or bombarded as you think, and in many ways it's pretty beautiful. Certainly, these are not the events that have led the world, but in situations of survival like this, it is certainly important to make the most of what you have been receiving, and Metro Exodus is taking this message home.
This follow-up takes place two years after the disappearance of Metro: Last Light and follows a 23-year-old protagonist named Artyom. He has always dreamed of leaving the tunnels of the Russian metro that he has known all his life. One day, when he discovers a particular radio signal, he embarks on a trip with his family that changes lives, as they know it.
After escaping to the surface, they board the train and cross Russia to discover the secrets of a conspiracy that has obviously developed under the nose over the years.
Metro Exodus Epic Key is an extremely demanding game that shows how serious the post-apocalyptic environment is.
