Resident Evil 2 Remake Sends 4 Million Copies

Capcom announced that Resident Evil 2 Steam Key Remake has been sold to more than 4 million copies worldwide.

The last time Capcom announced the shipping numbers of Resident Evil 2 Remake, a week after its release, the game sold 3 million units.

Although real sales are likely to be slightly lower, it is still a considerable number of copies for a niche horror game. A month after the publication, 4 million are very respectable. It may not sound like Monster Hunter World on Earth, but no other Capcom game, sooner or later, has been so successful.

Capcom continues to support the Resident Evil 2 remake after the release, as it recently released the free Ghost Survivors DLC, which has added three smaller stories with arcade-style mechanics.
